Meet the Team
Garrett Butts
Founder and Managing Member of Better Tech Solutions. He brings over a decade of experience leading complex, high-performance teams in the U.S. Army and in the commercial drone and automation space, where reliability, speed, and clear execution aren’t optional; they’re the job.
Before launching BTS, Garrett built and led innovation teams focused on turning messy, real-world operations into systems that actually work. That background now shapes how BTS serves its clients: practical automation, clean workflows, and accountability that sticks.
Garrett started BTS with one simple belief — most businesses don’t need more software, they need better systems. His focus is on helping organizations get full value from the tools they already have by removing friction, clarifying ownership, and making sure nothing important falls through the cracks.

Dave Wernsman
Operations and innovation leader with extensive experience managing teams and systems in high-tempo, mission-critical environments. His background includes leading Army organizations, integrating emerging technologies such as unmanned aerial systems, and establishing disciplined processes that improve reliability and execution. Dave also brings deep expertise in radio and wireless communications, where clear procedures, redundancy, and operational awareness are essential to success.
At Better Tech Solutions, he applies this operations-first mindset to improving property and apartment management workflows, focusing on consistency, accountability, and reduced operational friction. His work emphasizes practical technology adoption, streamlined communication, and systems that support teams rather than slow them down. Dave’s approach ensures solutions are scalable, dependable, and aligned with real-world operational demands.

Jayten Lucas
Director of sales and marketing at Better Tech Solutions with a focus on real conversations over pitches. An Army veteran, he brings a deep commitment to accountability and follow-through—skills built in environments where clarity, trust, and execution are non-negotiable.
Before joining BTS, his work centered on understanding where operations break down and why teams struggle to execute consistently. That experience now shapes how he engages with clients: listening first, asking the right questions, and translating operational pain into clear, honest solutions.
He believes effective sales isn’t about pushing products—it’s about reducing operational load. His focus is helping organizations simplify decision-making, align ownership, and move forward with systems that actually support the way they work.
